Social Innovation and Management
Innovative solutions to society's challenges need innovative decision makers, not only in the social and political sector, but also in the business sector.
Since 2005 the Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen and the Diakoniewissenschaftliche Institut (DWI) at the University of Heidelberg have jointly been offering a Master's Programme Entrepreneurship for the Social Sector. The aim of this extra-occupational study course is to impart leadership competences for running organizations, administration and associations in the health and social sector. The World Vision Institute is taking responsibility for "Communicative Competences in Leadership" as well as "Strategy and Organizational Management of the Nonprofit Sector".
Within the framework of the advanced study programme "Master in Business Innovation" at the EBS Business School, the World Vision Institute has been giving, since 2009, guest lectures to introduce "Social Innovation" to innovation managers of both German and international business companies.
